Alright people! A thought about life.
I have heard it called a lot of things… even a box of chocolates, but I think life is like a new calendar. When you get it there are a couple of bank holidays and nothing else. It is down to you to put stuff in it, otherwise it looks very sad.
Time doesn’t stop because your calendar is empty. Get out there and put stuff in it, otherwise you will have an empty calendar and an empty life.

There is nothing worse than waking up on Monday morning and realising you have got to go to school. Even thinking about it makes me want to cry!
But hang on in there my people….. it is just a few weeks to the summer, where school disappears, teachers go off to their caves, and every day is an adventure to be shared with you best friends.
Death to school….. Long live the summer!

After a long period of rest, I am back, with words of wisdom to inform and enlighten!
It looks like its going to be a great summer… so a quick tip, if you are getting too hot, lie down on the ice and get your friends to cover you in snow.

I haven’t written anything for a while so thought I would put pen to paper (or finger to plastic keyboard).
Isn’t ‘Life’ a funny old thing? A couple of negative things have happened to me recently, and it makes you think a little.
First, I damaged my left football boot, and then I dropped my favorite mug, and just when I thought it couldn’t get any worse I lost my pocket money when messing around on the fields with the rest of the Snow Falls Gang.
It made me feel like everything was against me. Punk against the World!
But when you sit back and think about it a little, that’s rubbish. Life is great and you need to get on with it. You could look for the negative in everything and spend the rest of your life being miserable, or you could look for the positive and get on with it, having a cracking time on the way.
As I always say “Life doesn’t stop if you decide you want to get off”.
So , I get to ask for some football boots, save for that mug with the cute minion on it and as for my pocket money, it was worth losing it to be able to play with my friends. Plus I know I will find it the next time I am having a great time with the Gang over at the fields.
Stay positive my peoples, and enjoy the roller coaster of Life.

I haven’t posted about the WC yet, so I thought I would correct that.
What a fantastic celebration of sport and cultural identity. The Olympics is great, but the actual events don’t matter so much as the collective completion, but the World Cup is different. It is this planets sport, and there is but one winner. The champion of the Earth’s favourites sport. The champion of the Earth. Now that is so cooooool.
Who do I fancy, I hear you cry. Well, I have the benefit of watching the first few games, and so I will not be picking Spain or England this time around. Holland are looking good, Brazil could do it unless they get very strong referees, Belgium don’t have enough collective experience, Chile have been fantastic, but their high pressure game will eventually run out of steam. I fancy Argentina, assuming Messi stays fit and continues his progress. And I fancy Germany, because they have the most complete team back to front.
Bring on the next matches. Let us see who will conquer the Earth!

Money can’t buy happiness, but it does buy time so you can keep looking.
Sometimes in life you have to do things you don’t want to do…..fact! (I am thinking of maths homework). But doing it and doing it well will give you far more pleasure than not doing it at all!
This is useful to remember if my weekend homework excuses don’t work!
Jumping into puddles is a God given right of all children, tigers and penguins. However, given the recent weather in the UK please be careful that you don’t end up jumping onto somebodies car or even their house.
Saturdays are the best. They are always waiting for you at the end of the week with a smile, and if you forget to do something ( say like homework) you always have the back up of the Sunday. It’s a shot to nothing type of day.
